Christmas is a time of reflection and charity. In the past we had always sent our most heartfelt Christmas greetings in the form of Christmas cards. This year, we questioned this practice and wondered if we could do something more. For what is the meaning of a Christmas card? To give someone a little enjoyment, pay attention, spread Christmas spirit, and above all else thank everyone for all of the hard work that they put in over the year.

But we can also send these Christmas greetings digitally - how fitting in an age of growing digitization. This saves paper, printing and the cost of creating the card - from brainstorming to captioning and graphic design. In short: to do without Christmas cards, saves the environment and money. Money, that we would like to use to make you happy. Joy in people who depend on us to think about them.

At each Häring location worldwide, we have chosen a project that is close to our hearts:

Bubsheim, Germany

Grant for new IT equipment for our local elementary school.

Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland:

Gift packages for families in need in the framework of the social project "Szlachetna Paczka " (English: " noble package").
This project takes place all over Poland during the entire year: a database of the project lists items that families who are in a bad financial situation need. Information on what they need most helps to create a personal gift.

Taicang, China:

Around 70 books for German lessons at the local elementary school.
In the form of a "small German library", which is set up at the school, the books are available to everyone. In addition, each elementary student receives a pocket dictionary for free.

Lavonia, USA:

Supporting the Hart County Middle School in Lavonia.
The funds go into the equipment for a technical school project in which the pupils each create their own "Rube Goldberg machine".

Especially at Christmas time, young and old are looking forward to a gift and a sign that "Santa Claus / the Christ Child" has not forgotten them. With our project, "More Christmas. Less Cards." we can afford to share something extra this year and at the same time do good to our environment and help our communities.
